How do I submit pictures?
3 simple steps as illustrate at flow below.
You must be a registered user of Asian Food Gallery in order to submit. You can register here and then proceed to login before submitting your pictures.

Who can submit the pictures?
Anyone….. Yes We mean ANYONE can submit the pictures provided they meet our policy.

Only Asian food pictures accepted? What about photos from other regions?
Despite the name of Asian Food Gallery, we do accept high quality pictures from other region. Our aim is to promote Asian Food but we do not want to turn away mouth watering pictures too. So send them over!

Are there any rules for pictures submission?
Yes, please refer to our policy here.

I saw my pictures being used without my permission. Can you remove that?
Yes. Drop us a note using the contact form with the subject “Picture Permission not given”. We will remove it from the system as soon as we get your mail.

How long does it take for submissions to appear on the site?
Moderation can take up to 24 hours but we typically review is fast enough for the photos to be on Asian Food Gallery. We want your great photo shots to be shared as quickly as possible as well.

Is there any indication for me to know if my submission has been rejected or otherwise?
Successful submission will be notified via email. You can also check them on the submission status page.

What’s your criteria for accepting submissions?
Basically, when you look at the photo, your first reaction would be “Wow” and followed by swallowing your saliva. It looks so tempting that the photo is good enough to capture your attention. Please make sure the photos are in good lighting so that we can actually see the food itself.

Do I have to submit a 250 pixels by 250 pixels image?
As we do not have any image cropper integrated into our system yet, but image auto resizal instead. It will be good if you have them to be at 250 pixels by 250 pixels for standardization purpose. It helps to ensure the pictures blend well into the website too.

I don’t see my photo submissions here. What happened?
The pictures appear here will be the best quality as possible and we want to maintain the standard here. With the latest cameras available in the market, it should be a problem to achieve that. However, you may need to work on the photo capturing skills to make your picture stand out when we review them.

I’m not good in photography and I don’t know how to improve my picture quality. Can you help?
There are tones of photography tips available online that you can refer to. You can do a Google search on them.

Is there a limit on title submission?
Again, for standardization purpose, please keep your title as short and crisp as possible so that it will appear in sync with other photos. If the title submitted is too long, we will shorten it as minimal as possible to reflect to original meaning of your title submission
